Past Projects

This basement was designed by the homeowner to be an oasis from the tasks of the day. The ceiling was insulated with blown in insulation and the drywall was installed on Z channel to provide sound isolation from the activities upstairs. The closet was a custom design made to maximize the efficiency of the space. There was plumbing installed for a future stackable washer and dryer, so the dirty clothes won’t need to be moved from the basement to the upstairs for cleaning. Due to the different heating and cooling needs of the basement a smart thermostat was selected to control a system of dampers that were installed in the existing system.

Each of the Shower valves are Plumbed individually to provide the maximum amount of water flow to each shower head. The glass wall dividing the wet room from the rest of the basement provides an open environment and show cases the features in the wet room. To provide atmosphere in the room the homeowners leave the visual component on the fireplace running. Due to the damp nature of the wet room a TV that was made for exterior unprotected locations was selected.

This basement contains a great room for multipurpose use as a gym, crafting area, gathering area etc.  A wall in the main room has been plumbed for a kitchen if in the future one is wanted in the basement. The added guest bedroom includes a closet with bypass doors and a exit ladder in the window well. The bathroom contains a linin closet, a 60” vanity with stone top and a shower/tub combination. A storage room houses an ethernet switch connecting all of the data ports in the house to the internet router. A split HVAC system was installed that adds some dampers and a Thermostat controlling them. This HVAC system is designed to allow for maximum comfort in the basement and throughout the house.

We installed electricity and ducting for a future washer and dryer to be installed in the mechanical room. Added a play area under the stairs including some extra padding under the carpet and some extra lights to provide a comfortable environment for children to place pillows and toys.

The home theater room has sound dampening insulation in the ceiling, hat channel to hold the drywall away from the floor joists isolating it from the upstairs and batt insulation in the walls. It has been built with:

  1. dedicated Ethernet line to entertainment center
  2. In wall conduit for running the HDMI and Data lines from the wall mounted TV to the Stereo receiver
  3. Inwall speakers
  4. Platform to provide a theater like experience
  5. Walls were painted in a custom BYU blue with the trim being white

The platform was constructed in a way that will allow for its removal in the future is this room is changed into a bedroom and in accordance with local codes an egress ladder was installed in the window well.

This basement required us to move plumbing lines from one side of the basement to then other resulting in concrete demolition and installing underground waste lines that tie into the existing sewer system. Their basement construction included the addition of a family room, restroom and storage. The Family room contains an office space family TV and a smart switch that can be controlled on their smart phones. The rest room contains a 60” vanity with stone duo sink basin, toilet and a walk-in shower. The storage is adjacent to the family room and is perfect for storing blankets, games and toys. Due to the placement of the existing waterline, we made a custom door to cover it as can be seen at the end of the hall photo.

Includes a multi-purpose room, Bathroom, restroom, mechanical room and storage. The multipurpose room is used for meetings, there is office space with a custom desk mounted to the wall with matching shelves, and an exercise area. The restroom contains a stand-up shower with tile walls, toilet and space saving sink. The bedroom has a closet with French doors and can lights located close to the wall to allow for comfortable reading in bed. The mechanical room was enclosed. The storage room was left largely untouched and stayed under the stairs.

This basement was finished knowing they are going to have an extended family member stay down there for a little bit. We add some outlets and wiring in various locations in preparation for when they have the space back. At that time they are going to uses it as a theater, workout area, and office.

This was a Bathroom remodel where we removed the a corner Jetted tub, replaced with a freestanding tub, flooring, vanity, mirrors, lights, moved doorway, added three headed shower with glass surround.

We installed a theater system, repaired and repainted walls and ceiling

This is a garden wall 42 feet long and 2.5’ high. We decided to install a 2×6 on its side across the top so when they have people over it can be used as a makeshift bench.

We installed this planter with large gravel at the base smaller as it came up until it was toped of with planting.

This was a deck replacing an existing one that was pulling away from the home and didn’t have a handrail. we rebuilt the structure, installed Trex and installed handrail.
